Bus set ablaze in Savar

Miscreants have set a passenger bus of ‘Itihas Paribahan’ on fire at Baroipara bazar on Abdullahpur Jamgora road in Savar, on the outskirts of Dhaka, on Wednesday (December 6) morning.

The incident took place around 9:30 am.

According to eyewitness and fire service, two arsonists posing as passengers set a passenger bus of ‘Itihas Paribahan’ on fire at Baroipara bazar on Abdullahpur Jamgora road in Savar and fled the scene. There were 10-12 passengers in the bus. Several seats of the bus were burnt in the fire.

However, no one was injured in this connection.

Alauddin, Deputy Assistant Director of Jirabo Modern Fire Service and Civil Defense Station (Dhaka Region-4), confirmed the incident and said locals doused the fire before we reached the spot.
