Lowest temperature recorded in Panchagarh

Country’s lowest temperature was recorded 12.8 degrees Celsius in Tetulia upazila of Panchagarh.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s Tetulia branch Assistant Met Officer Rasel Shah confirmed the matter on Wednesday (December 13).
He said that Panchagarh under the influence of a severe cold wave prevailing through the northern districts.
The winter weather is more severe here as the region is close to the Himalayas. Temperatures may further deteriorate at the end of this month, he added.
