Dhaka-M’singh train services resume after a day

Bangladesh Railway resumed Dhaka-Mymensingh train service through alternative route instead of the Mymensingh route following a derailment at Bhawal Railway Station in Gazipur early Wednesday.
Train service resumed in the route around 5:50 am on Thursday (December 14).
Joydebpur Railway Station Master Md Hanif Ali confirmed the matter.
He said the rail line was cut off by unidentified criminals, leading to the derailment of a Mohanganj Express train in Gazipur early Wednesday. A man was killed and seven others were injured in the accident. Later, the rail line was restored around 7:00pm.
Sreepur railway station master Shamima Islam said three trains have been operated from Dhaka to Mymensingh through the rail route.
