Cumilla Awami League leader slaughtered

An Awami League (AL) leader has been slaughtered by miscreants in Titas upazila of Cumilla district.

The incident took place on Monday afternoon at Noyanchar village under Narandia union of the upazila.

The slain was identified as Mostafa Kamal Munsi, general secretary of a ward of the upazila.  He was a supporter of Awami League candidate Engineer Abdus Sabur.

Acting Officer-in-Charge of Kanchon Kanti Das confirmed the news.

Police suspect that he was slaughtered by his rival over previous enmity.
