4 pairs of special trains arranged for attendees

Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is set to flag off the party's electioneering today with visits to the shrines of saints Shahjalal and Shah Paran in Sylhet.

Bangladesh railway will operate a total of four pairs of special trains for a day so people can easily attend the grand rally on Wednesday (December 20).

A notification signed by Khalilur Rahman, Assistant Chief Commercial Officer of Bangladesh Eastern Railway confirmed the matter.

Sylhet railway station manager Md. Nurul Islam said Railways operate special train services as per capacity considering passenger demand. Special train services are provided to anyone if applied for travel (except commercial activities).
