People rejected arsonists: PM Hasina in Sylhet

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina the people of the country have rejected arsonist politicians. So, they are not responding to BNP-Jamaat strike blockade.

The premier said this while addressing reporters after offering prayers at the mazar of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) on Wednesday noon (20 December).

She said, inshallah, the people will vote for us in the 12th parliamentary elections as well.

"What kind of politics is it to kill mothers and children or kill helpless people by burning them with fire or by uprooting railway lines," questioned the Prime Minister.

The Awami League Chief also said that they want to obstruct the elections by creating panic through the politics of killing people. But in 2013 and 2014, their politics was rejected by the people of the country. They were rejected in 2018 as well.
