7 firearms recovered from Chapainawabganj border

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 7 foreign-made pistols, 253 rounds of bullet and drugs from the border area of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Wednesday night.

A woman named Rumi Begum has been arrested in the connection.  She is the daughter of Humayun Kabir at West Chandipur village of Shibganj upazila.

59 BGB Battalion Commander held a press conference to unveil the incident on Thursday noon.
