JP shared no seat with AL: GM Quader

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Golam Mohammad (GM) Quader said JP did not share any alliance or seat with the ruling Awami League (AL). For the sake of legitimacy of election, the AL has given up some seats to the JP.
He said this while addressing a meeting at the Rangpur JP office on Central Road on Saturday (December 23).
GM Quader said the government has brought the Jatiya Party to the election after negotiating with the party for its legitimacy. He also said that the Jatiya Party will take another step if the election environment is not good at the end.
GM Quader today started election campaign offering prayers at the shrine of saint Maulana Keramat Ali Zainpuri in Rangpur.
GM Quader is contesting the January 7 national election from Rangpur-3 (Sadar).
The campaign for the 12th parliamentary election started on December 18 following the distribution of electoral symbols among the contestants.
