RAB ready to face any challenge centering polls: DG

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General (DG) M Khurshid Hossain has said, “The RAB is prepared to face any challenge centering the upcoming 12th parliamentary election. The force along with other law enforcement agencies will play a strict role in holding the election in a peaceful manner.”

He said this while replying to questions of journalists after distributing blankets among the poor people of Ward No. 3 of Kuakata municipality in Patuakhali district around 11:30 am on Monday (December 25).

“Number of operations being conducted to recover illegal arms are relatively low at this time as there is no illegal arms in the country like before. But RAB continued to carry out operations to recover illegal arms centering the upcoming general election,” the RAB DG said.
