Four candidates including Mashrafe fined

Four candidates including Awami League-nominated candidate for Narail-2 constituency and former Bangladesh cricket captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza have been fined for violating the electoral code of conduct.

A joint mobile court of Executive Magistrates Rakibul Hasan and Md Anisur Rahman fined Mashrafe Bin Mortaza Tk 15,000 in Narail municipality area on Monday (December 25).

The mobile court also fined Jatiya Party candidate Fayekuzzaman Firoz Tk 15,000, Gonofront candidate Lotifur Rahman Tk 3,000 and Islami Oikya Jote candidate Mahbubur Rahman Tk 2,000.
