Nilphamari-4: Jatiya Party expels Siddiqul Alam

The Jatiya Party (JP) has expelled its district vice-president Siddiqul Alam Siddiq for breach of party discipline.

A notification signed by Jatiya Party chairman GM Quader confirmed the matter on Tuesday (December 26).

Sources said that Jatiya Party-backed candidate Ahsan Adelur Rahman is contesting the upcoming polls from the Nilphamari-4 constituency (Syedpur-Kishoreganj). However, Siddiqul Alam becomes a candidate in the seat as an independent aspirant.

Following the issue, the independent candidate Siddiqul Alam denied to make any comment.
