Legal actions if any candidate violates code of conduct: EC Rasheda

Election Commissioner (EC) Rasheda Sultana has said that if any candidate violates code of conduct and allegations are proven, legal actions will be taken against them.

She made the warning while speaking with the journalists after exchanging views ahead of the 12th parliamentary election at the Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner office.

Candidates, returning officer, presiding officers and officers of law enforcing agencies participated in the meeting.
