Barrister served show-cause notice

Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman, an independent candidate for Habiganj-4, has been served a show-cause notice for using Bangabandhu’s picture in electoral posters.

Habiganj Senior Assistant Judge Sabuj Pal, also the chairman of the election enquiry committee for Habiganj-4 constituency, sent the notice on Sunday.

The barrister has been asked to reply the show-cause notice at the temporary office of the enquiry committee on January 2.
