PM to visit Faridpur today

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will address an election rally in Faridpur town today.

The premier will attend the rally around 3:00 pm.

The local administration has taken all necessary preparations. A bamboo safety fence has been built around the temporary stage on the east side of the college grounds.

District Awami League general secretary Shah Md Istiaque Arif said a festive mood has been prevailing among the leaders and activists of Awami League ahead of the party chief’s visit.

There will be a gathering of around 100,000 people, Ishtiaque hopes.

It is mentionable that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Faridpur on March 29, 2017, and addressed a public rally at the same venue.
