JaPa candidate withdraws candidature from Dinajpur-2

Jatiya Party (JaPa) candidate for Dinajpur-2 constituency, Mahbubul Alam has withdrawn his candidacy citing doubts about the fairness of the January 7 election as one of the reasons.

Mahbubul Alam came up with the announcement at a press briefing held at local party office in Birol upazila of the district on Tuesday (January 2).

He said I am skeptical about the authenticity of the vote counting and declaration.
