3 of a family killed in Thakurgaon boiler blast

Three members of a family were killed in a boiler explosion at a husking mill in Palli Bidyut area under Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station.

The incident took place on Thursday (January 4) morning.

The deceased were identified as Dipti Das, 40, wife of Sagor Das; her daughter Puja Das, 11 and Palak Das, 12, son of Sagor Das’s brother.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station Firoz Wahid confirmed the news.

The bodies were sent to a hospital’s morgue for autopsy, he said.
