Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari withdraws from polls race

Tarikat Federation Chairman and current Member of Parliament (MP) Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari has announced his withdrawal from the election race.

Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari, candidate for Chattogram-2 (Fatikchhari) constituency, announced his withdrawal at a press conference held at his residence on Thursday (January 4) morning.

Syed Taibul Bashar Maizbhandari, son of Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari and vice chairman of Tarikat Federation, confirmed the news.

The 12th national parliamentary election is scheduled to be held on January 7.

Mentionable, Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari was elected MP from Chattogram-2 constituency in the 10th and 11th parliamentary elections.
