Three cattle-theft suspects lynched in Pabna

An angry mob lynched three suspected cattle thieves at Betuan village under Bhangura upazila of Pabna district early Saturday.

According to sources, a gang of thieves had allegedly gone to the house of Golap Hossin at Asthomonisha village and were fleeing after stealing two cows.

At one stage, local people chased the thieves and caught three of them at Betuan village. Later, locals beat them up mercilessly, leaving three dead on the spot.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.
