Supporter of AL candidate found dead in Munshiganj

A supporter of the Awami League candidate was found dead in Munshiganj district on Sunday morning (January 7).

The deceased was known as Zillur Rahman, 45. He was president of Mirkadim municipality worker league.

Sources said the victim was found dead adjacent to Rikabibazar number-2 government primary school around 9:30am.

Munshiganj police super Md Aslam Khan confirmed the matter.

Mrinal Kanti Das, candidate of 'boat symbol' in the area said that he doesn’t want to make any comment instantly as the issue is under investigation.
