Fire breaks out at Rohingya camp in Bangladesh

A fire broke out at a Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar's Teknaf upazila on early Thursday (January 11).

The incident took place around 12:40 am.

On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze. However, no casualties were reported instantly.

Ukhiya police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shamim Hossain confirmed the matter.

Earlier on January 7, thousands of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh were left without shelter after a fire ripped through a refugee camp.
