Husband, wife killed in Natore road crash

A man and his wife were killed when a battery-run rickshaw-van turned turtle in lalpur village of Natore on Thursday morning (January 11).
The deceased were known as Chandu Mollah, 62, and his wife Arabi Begum, 45.
Police and local sources said the two victims were heading towards house of their relative after getting a news of demise. However, their three-wheeler transport turned turtle due to dense fog in the area, leaving Chandu dead on the spot and injured other.
Later, the injured was sent to Lalpur upazila health complex where the duty doctor declared her dead.
Confirming the matter, Lalpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nasim Ahmed said the bodies were being sent to police station.
