Air lifting bags being used to float sunken ferry

Air lifting bags are being used to float and recover ferry Rajanigandha that sank at Paturia terminal with vehicles on Wednesday.
The operation started on Friday noon.
Director of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) Md Shah Jahan said the sunk ferry Rajanigandha weights around 250 tons. Its weight has increased more 150 tons in last several days.
Salvage vessels Hamza, Rustam and Protai have no capacity to recover it. At a result, 10 air lifting bags have entered the ferry.
