Hill collapse kills youth in Ukhiya

A young boy was killed after heavy chunks of mud from a hill collapsed on him while cutting a hill at Baitush Shorof in Ukhiya Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.

The deceased was identified as Muslim Uddin, 20, son of Nurul Islam, resident of Ward no 2 at Jaliapalong of the upazila.

Md Shamim Hossain, officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhiya Police Station, confirmed the news.
