Lowest temperature recorded in Rajshahi

The lowest temperature was recorded at 9.5 degree Celsius in Rajshahi this morning (January 21).

If the temperature drops between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius, it is considered a mild cold wave. Mild cold wave is sweeping over the district since yesterday. In this situation, all educational institutions have been declared closed.

Earlier on January 13, the lowest temperature was 9.6 degrees Celsius in the district.

Rajshahi Met Office's official Latifa Helen said that the lowest temperature of Rajshahi was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius early Sunday. This is the lowest temperature in Rajshahi in this season.

Bangladesh meteorological Department said mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Kisoregonj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Panchagarh & Kurigram and it may continue.
