Body of ferry’s assistant engineer recovered

The body of Humayun Kabir, assistant engineer of the ferry Rajanigandha that sank at Paturia terminal with vehicles, has been recovered.

Fire service men recovered the body from Bahadurpur area of Harirampur upazila, 13 km far from the spot, on Monday noon.

Assistant Deputy Director of Manikganj Fire Service Md Abdul Hamid Mia confirmed the news at around 5:00pm.

Humayun Kabir went missing after the ferry Rajanigandha had sunken at Paturia terminal with vehicles on Wednesday.
