3 killed in truck-pickup collision in Mymensingh

At least three people were killed when a pickup van collided with a truck on Mymensingh-Sherpur highway in Tarakanda upazila health complex area on Tuesday morning (January 23).

The deceased were known as Kamrul Islam, 22, son of later Abdul Latif, Abdul Kadir, 45, son of late Oson Ali.

The pickup van driver Kamrul died on the spot and two others injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared them dead.

Md Wazed Ali, Officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police Station, confirmed the matter to risingbd.
