Month-long flower festival begins in Chattogram

A month-long flower festival was inaugurated for the second time at DC Park Faujdarhat under Sitakunda upazila of the district on Thursday noon. This fair will continue till February 24.

Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain inaugurated the festival as the chief guest. 

Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Abul Bashar Mohammad Fakruzzaman presided over the inaugural function while Senior Secretary of Ministry of Public Administration Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury and Divisional Commissioner Chattogram Md. Tofail Islam were present as special guests.

The park, which has been established over 194 acres of Khas land. There are 127 different types of flowers. Visitors are fascinated by this kingdom of flowers.
