Money stolen from NRBC bank vault in Bogura

Miscreants have stolen money from the vault of a sub branch of NRBC Bank in Bogura Sadar upazila.

Police rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident on Saturday (January 27).

The incident took place any time on Friday (January 26) night in Shakharia Bazar area of the upazila, confirmed Saihan Oliullah, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bogura Sadar Police Station.

The OC said miscreants managed to cut off the lock of the vault of the bank’s Shakharia Bazar sub-branch and stole away the cash taka.

OC Oliullah, however, could not be able to confirm the exact amount of the stolen money.
