Couple found dead in Noakhali

Police have recovered the bodies of a man and his wife from a rented house in Noakhali district.

The bodies were recovered from a room of the house owned by Kochi doctor in Bashundhara Colony, Ward No. 5 of Noakhali Municipality.

The deceased were identified as Mehedi Hasan Shuvo, 22, and his wife Tamanna Islam, 16.

Primarily, police suspected that Shuvo committed suicide after slaughtering her wife to death following a family feud.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sudharam Model Police Station Mir Jahedul Haque Rony confirmed the matter and said police rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident.

The OC said an investigation has been launched to find out the mystery of their deaths.
