Throat-slit bodies of 3 of a family found in Sirajganj

Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of a family's three members from a house in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj early Tuesday (January 30).

The deceased were known as Bikash Sarker, 45, his wife Swarna Rani Sarker, 40, and their daughter Parmita Sarket Tushi, 15.

Police said that the relatives of the family members informed police after failing to contact them since last two days. Later, police found their bodies at their locked house around 3:00am.

Confirming the matter, Tarash police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Nur-e-Alam said that the bodies were sent to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
