3 get life term for murder in Cumilla

A court in Cumilla has sentenced three people to life term imprisonment in a case filed for killing contractor Md Sher Ali in Burichang upazila of the district in June 2015.

Farida Yasmin, Judge of Additional District and Sessions Judge Court-5, handed down the verdict on Wednesday (January 31).

The court also fined them Tk 50,000 each, in default of which, they will have to suffer six months more in jail

The lifers are Sujan Mia, 40, son of Malek Habilder; Mamun, 18, son of Abul Kashem and Zakir Hossain, 30, son of late Rustam Ali.
