There is example to reveal mystery after 24 years: Anisul

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has explained his speech ‘if the investigation needs 50 years to find the killers of journalists Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi, it will have to be given 50 years’.

The law minister explained this while talking to newsmen in Akhaura of Brahmanbaria on Friday morning.

“There is an instance in the United Kingdom, where killers were nabbed 42 years after committing the crime, adding, Even in the US, recently mystery behind the murder case had been revealed after 24 years”, he said.

“I feel sad actually, even if I say something good for you, you take it differently. My earlier statement on giving time for probing the case is being presented differently. I talked about giving 50 years time for probe if necessary, in relative terms. I meant, we will bring to justice the people who have committed that crimes, we will detain them no matter how long it takes,” he said.
