Leaders call for unity of Rohingyas to return home

Leaders of Rohingya people, who have taken shelter in Bangladesh, have called for unity among the Rohingya people to return to their country Myanmar.
Their leaders made the call at the Rohingya Convention held at Ukhiya Lambashia Camp in Cox’s Bazar on Friday (February 2).
Thousands of Rohingyas joined the convention, voicing various demands and slogans.
Rohingya leaders said, ““We, the Rohingyas, also have land where our ancestors were buried - we want to stay there. We came to Bangladesh not willingly, and we do not want to stay in Bangladesh. We need unity if we want to return to our country, Myanmar”.
The international community should take the initiative; we want to return to our country, that is our only demand, they added.
Master Shoaed, Moulvi Syed, Master Shahidullah, Master Musa spoke, among others, at the convention.
