Fire at BIWTA’s warehouse in Narayanganj

A fire broke out at a warehouse of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) in the Khanpur area of Narayanganj on Saturday noon.

The fire started at around 1:30pm. Being informed, eight units of the Narayanganj Fire Service rushed to the spot to douse the flame.

Fakhar Uddin Ahmed, deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the news.

A large number of plastic products were burned.
