Fire at shoe soles factory in Gazipur

A fire broke out at a shoe soles factory in Sreepur area of Gazipur on Saturday evening.

The fire originated at around 4: 30pm at the factory of Globe Gloves (Bangladesh) Manufacturing Limited at Razabari Union.

Being informed, seven units of fire service rushed to the spot to douse the fire at around 8:15pm.

Md. Abdullah Al Arefin, assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the news.

The cause behind the fire could not be known immediately.
