Fire at BIWTA’s warehouse under control

The fire broke out at a warehouse of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) in the Khanpur area of Narayanganj has been brought under control.

The fire started at around 1:30pm. Being informed, eight units of the Narayanganj Fire Service rushed to the spot to douse the flame at around 9:15pm.

Fakhar Uddin Ahmed, deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the news.

A large number of plastic products were burned in the fire.
