Condition of 2 of BGP members taking refuge is critical

So far, a total of 95 members of Myanmar’s Border Guard Police (BGP) have crossed the border at Tumbru into Bangladesh to take refuge from the ongoing gunfight inside Myanmar.
Of them, condition of two BGP members are stated to be critical and they are now undergoing treatment at Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.
The total number of Myanmar’s Border Guard Police (BGP) taking refuge in Bangladesh has risen to 95 after 27 more soldiers entered Bangladesh this morning, fleeing heavy gunfights between the government troops and the rebels in the neighbouring country.
The clashes between insurgent groups including the Arakan Army and the military in Myanmar have intensified recently.
