New instructions issued for Saint Martin’s tourists

The authority in Cox’s Bazar has issued a new direction for the travelers in Saint Martin’s.

All tourist ship services on the Teknaf-Saint Martin’s route from February 10 until further notice amid the ongoing unrest along the Myanmar-Bangladesh border area.

However, three ships from Cox's Bazar will be operated on the Cox's Bazar-Saint Martin route as usual, according to the district administration.

Cox’s Bazar additional district magistrate (ADM) Md Yeamin Hossain confirmed the matter on Thursday (February 8).

In reply to a question, he said that this is a temporary decision and further decision will be taken after reviewing the situation.
