Another unexploded mortar shell found in Ghumdhum border

Another unexploded mortar shell from Myanmar landed in Ghumdhum border of Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban on Saturday (February 10) morning.

With this, BGB members recovered three unexploded mortar shells so far.

BGB members recovered the mortar shell from the area adjacent a bridge in the Tumbru west coast area of Ghumdhum union.

Naikhongchhari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Mannan confirmed the matter. 

A fierce battle between the Arakan Army and the junta government is being fought on the other side of the border.
