Voting begins in Naogaon-2 by-polls

The polling began on Monday in Naogaon-2 constituency by-polls amid tight security.

The voting begun at 8:00 am and is scheduled to continue uninterrupted until 4:00 pm.

Earlier on Monday (January 8), the Election Commission (EC) announced polls schedule for Naogaon-2 after the death of an independent candidate in the constituency.

Aminul Haque, a 75-year-old independent candidate, passed away under hospital care in Dhaka on December 29.
