Juba League leader hacked dead in Jashore

A local Jubo League leader was hacked to death by the miscreants in Nawapara Bazar area of Avoynagar upazila in Jashore on Sunday (February 11).

The deceased was known as Murad Hossain, Juba League general secretary of Nawapara ward number: 4.

Police said the victim was heading towards his home from Nawapara Bazar around 10:00pm. Meanwhile, miscreants attacked him with lethal weapon, leaving him critically injured. Later, he was taken to Khulna Medical College where duty doctors declared him dead.

Avoynagar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akibul Islam confirmed the matter.
