22 Myanmar nationals put on remand

A total of 22 Myanmar nationals, who entered Bangladesh illegally with weapons, have been put on three days remand each.
A senior judge of Cox’s Bazar Court granted the remand plea on Monday noon. But the court did not granted remand to a man for his illness.
Inspector of Ukhiya Police Station Nasir Uddin Mazumder confirmed the news.
A case was filed against 23 Myanmar nationals with Ukhiya Police Station on Friday (February 9) on behalf of BGB.
Hasan Mahmud visited New Delhi from February 7-9 and had his first bilateral meetings with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
He also called in Indian President Droupadi Murmu.
