Three including ARSA second-in-command detained

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested three members of Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) including its second-in-command from a Rohingya refugee camp in Ukhiya of Cox’s Bazar.

They were arrested from a house of the extension of Rohingya camp No. 20 on Tuesday midnight.

Lt Col HM Sajjad Hossain, chief of RAB-15 Cox’s Bazar Battalion, informed this at a press briefing on Wednesday noon.

The arrestees are Abul Hashim, 31, ARSA second-in-command, Hossain Johar Prokash Ali Johar, 32, and Md Alam Prokash Shaer Mucha, 35.

RAB also seized two foreign-made firearms, a local weapon and four founds of bullets.
