Three killed in Rangamati road crash

At least three killed as a lorry hit an autorickshaw on the Rangamati-Chattogram highway in Rangamati Sadar upazila on Thursday morning (February 15).

Among the deceased, two were identified as Nabir Hossain, 50, and Md Hafiz, 50, while the details about another deceased and injured people could not be known immediately.

Police and local sources said a Chattogram-bound lorry rammed a CNG-run autorickshaw from the opposite direction on the highway, leaving two people dead on the spot and injured three others. Later, the injured were sent to hospital where another victim died under treatment.
