Ruma upazila chairman Uhla Ching Marma said that his younger brother Lupru Marma was heading towards bus station from home this morning. Meanwhile, he was physically assaulted by the members of Kuki-Chin National Front.
Shaimang Marma, president of Ruma Upazila Awami League and chairman of Ruma Sadar Union No 2, said that members of the KNF are patrolling the streets of Ruma, threatening and beating people. That’s why no buses and vehicles from Ruma and Bandarban are operating.
