Man found dead in Madhabpur hill

Police recovered the body of a person from the deep forest of Raghunandan Hill in Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj.

The body was recovered from an area of Shahpur bit under Raghunandan range on Sunday (March 3) afternoon.

The body was identified as Fazal Mia, 47, son of Yakub Ali from Bengadoba village of the upazila.

Quoting relatives of the deceased, Madhabpur police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Deen Mohammad said that Fazal left home on Saturday afternoon but did not return. He was found dead in the deep forest after a day.

Madhabpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Atikur Rahman said the body was sent to the Sadar hospital for autopsy. Legal action will be taken based on the investigation.
