However, every year, the lawyers said that they are taking the initiative to start the case.
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the bomb attack that also left over 250 injured. On this day in 1999, the attack was carried out on the 12th national council meeting of Udichi Shilpi Gosthi on the Town Hall premises of Jashore town. At least 10 people lost their lives due to the bomb attack.
Following the issue, Jashore public prosecutor (PP) M Idris Ali said the Udichi murder case is pending in the appeal hearing. We drew the attention of the High Court in this regard. However, the hearing has not taken place yet. If the appeal hearing is not settled, it is not possible to start the trial in the lower court.
