Two motorcyclists killed in Sylhet road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Jaintapur of Sylhet on Tuesday (March 5).

The deceased were known as Shihab, 22, son of Alauddin, Faysal Reza, 19, son of M Liakat Ali.

Police and local sources said a speedy pickup van rammed the motorcycle in front of Jaflong Valley Boarding school around 10:00pm, leaving motorcyclist Shihab dead on the spot and injured Faysal critically.

Later, the injured was taken to upazila health complex where duty doctor declared him dead.

Jaintapur model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Tazul Islam confirmed the matter.
