Philippine girl flies to Bangladesh to marry Habiganj youth

A Philippine young woman left her native land and came to Bangladesh’s Habiganj to marry her beloved Ashiqul Islam Mishu.

Changing her name and religion, the lady got married on Tuesday (March 5) at Habiganj Chief Judicial Magistrate court.

Ashiqul Islam said that the foreign lady Jubelin Bautista works in a reception center at Doha in Qatar. The Bangladeshi youth had a business in the town. They became friends five years ago. At one stage, it turns into a love affair. Later, they decided to get married six months ago.

After completing post-wedding formalities, we both will return to our work station in Qatar, he added.
