290 sacks of sugar seized in Moulvibazar

A mobile team has seized 290 sacks of sugar on charge of hoarding those in Shamsernagar area of Kamalganj upazila in Mouvibazar.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Rois Al Rezuan led the mobile team.

The team conducted a sudden raid on Thursday noon in a warehouse of Elias Mia and found the huge sugar remains hoarding there.
Subsequently, the team members seized the sugar sacks and sealed off the warehouse.

He also directed to take legal actions against the owner for hoarding sugar.
